Plus, I always have them in my car and use them for all kinds of stuff.carrying my gym clothes, library books, games for roadtrips, ect. I was completely surprised to find that this little change was not only better for the planet, but easier for me! Those bags are so much easier to carry and they hold more stuff so you don't have to make as many trips from the car to the kitchen. Within a month or so, I had enough to never need the plastic kind again. And then one really get addictive because you see how easy it is and you feel good about yourself! For me, it started with just buying one or two reusable shopping bag each week at the grocery store. Even if you don't make any other changes, you are still doing something! But chances are you will think of one more thing you could be doing. I think a lot of people are reluctant to make greener choices because it seems like a tremendous amount of work and the effort seems overwhelming. Why do companies over-package everything? The composting and recycling are working out great though, and I really encourage people to give it a try. And all those lovely exotic ingredients in the produce section are very tempting! Another thing that's been frustrating is trying to reduce the amount of packaging my stuff comes in. I was looking at the fish at the seafood counter and everything except for cod had been imported from other countries. The more I learn, the more sense it makes not just for the planet but for my wallet! The hardest part so far has been trying to buy local and what is in season. Lately, I have been trying to educate myself to be more eco-friendly in the kitchen. However, I'm afraid of annoying anyone with access to very sharp knives so I always take whatever is wrapped up and ready for sale. I always hear about how you should make good friends with your butcher. I need to learn how to choose the right cut of meat. I am pretty much teaching myself as I go and have a lot to learn. I don't see cooking as a chore, I really do enjoy it. I am a single mom of a 15 yr old and work as a CT technologist at hospital and at a cancer facility. Remove from heat and drizzle over the chops.Add the Tabasco and continue to cook until the sauce is lightly browned and very foamy, about 1 to 2 minutes.Add the garlic and continue to cook until the butter is melted and the foam on the surface is barely browned, about 2 to 3 minutes, shaking the pan frequently. In a very small pan, heat the butter over high heat until half melted, shaking the pan almost constantly.Fry in hot oil until dark golden brown and cooked through, about 4 to 5 minutes per side.Just before frying, dredge each chop in the seasoned flour mixture, shaking off excess.Heat 1/4 inch oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat until hot, about 2 minutes.Add the remaining seasoning mix to the flour and place on a flat plate.Sprinkle the chops with some of the seasoning mix, patting in on with your hands (use about 2/3 of the mixture).Combine all the seasoning ingredients in a small bowl.

if you need a boost or charge, connect directly to the battery. what if you start the car with a dead battery and it pulls power thru the cigarette lighter wiring. and while in theory you should be able to charge thru the cigarette lighter what happens if all your fail safe protections fail. there is a reason the battery is close to the alternator, to shorten the run. One last thing, electricity voltage drops the longer the run and the smaller the wire. Relying on technology is only cool if you are near the tech guy for backup, if you travel off grid, keep it simple, keep systems isolated I keep everything RV separate from the vehicle. a dual battery switch works and never fails if you remember to use it. dual batteries and battery isolators are great til they fail. and when not running, disconnect ALL the draws. a good battery is best, they usually last less than 10 years, get your tested. booster cables to a running vehicle better. I carry jumper cables and I also carry a small oddysey 16ah agm, that I can use to jumpstart my van or if the battery is completely dead I can just use the oddesey as a start battery it has the side/top posts, the oddysey is a beast of a battery for its size. Thats one reason I don't even carry a jump pack anymore. There have been times when my start battery was completely dead and it wouldnt jumpstart and have also encounter situations where I tried to jumpstart someone with jumper cables and there car wouldn't start because the battery was completely dead. This boost/buck converter will turn 12 volts into 14.4 volts at 6 amps, and will give your lead acid a quick boost. No need to buy a jumpstarter unless you need the engine to start right away. Keep your battery in top condition even when your vehicle is in storage with chargers & maintainers from Harbor Freight. On my van I use a boost/buck converter to top off my start battery from the house battery every day. But to improve your chances you can always build a boost/buck converter to turn the 12.6 volts from the bluetti into 14.4 volts to give the start battery a quicker boost. In an emergency, I think your bluetti can put enough amps into your battery to start it, but it might take 1/2 an hour. The agm jumpstart put just enough amps to give me one crank. I decided to crank the van over one last time, and it crank slowly but it started. I had one of those 18ah agm jump starter but it was also dead at around 12 volts, it wouldnt crank over the van, but I left it connected for about 1/2 hour while I decided what I was going to do. If, on the other hand, you try to power three coolers, each pulling 7.5A, you're going to blow your fuse. One time I had a dead battery on my astrovan, it wouldn't crank over. In total, you're drawing (1A + 0.5A + 7.5A) 9A of current, so you're good. In the last plug, you connect an electric cooler which draws about 7.5A. You connect a GPS to the second plug and it draws probably half an amp. If you have a recent phone, it probably draws about 2A at 5V (your adapter reduces the voltage from 12V to 5V) which is just under 1A at 12 volts. You connect your cell phone charger to one plug. You plug in your extension and plug three accessories into the plug. Let's say the lighter jack in your dash is protected by a 15A (amp) fuse. How much current each accessory draws, however will be added together, and can't exceed the current capacity, usually dictated by the fuse. Portable cigarette lighter receptacles attached to cables and alligator clips for connection directly to car batteries are available for temporary use. When you purchase a lighter plug extension that adds three extra plugs, you're not changing the voltage because the plugs are in parallel with each other so that each plug can deliver 12V to the accessory connected. In Endless mode, The Reaper won't spawn at the final minute. The merchant also sells Skips, Banishes, and Rerolls, and well as an additional Arcana. In return, enemies start with +200% Max Health, and gain an additional 5% Max Health and 0.5% movement speed every minute, (additive with The Bone Zone and Tiny Bridge enemy bonuses). In terms of gameplay, Gold gains are increased by +200%, and the Luck bonus by +20%. This Relic can be found at Eudaimonia Machine, a hidden stage that becomes accessible when all of the Standard Stage Relics have being obtained. Normal stages reach 30:00 when 15 minutes have elapsed in real time. In Hurry mode, the Clock Speed of the stage is doubled and XP gain is increased by 25%. The background music also becomes detuned and faster in hyper mode. The modifiers are dependent on the stage and listed in more detail in the Stage Selection (also see table below). Additionally, there can also be modifications to the Luck bonus and enemies' health. It always increases the character's and enemies' move speed by 65% – 75%, the projectile speed by 15% – 25% and gold multiplier by 50%. Multiple modes can be active simultaneously. The player can also choose whether to enable Arcanas and Limit Break in the stage selection. The base modifiers and mode bonuses stack additively with each other and the total multipliers multiplicatively with stat bonuses from passive items and PowerUps, with the exception of Luck bonus, which stacks additively with player's Luck.Īll stages have four unlockable, toggleable modes: Hyper, Hurry, Inverse, and Endless mode. Modifiers can affect the player's movement speed, projectile speed, Gold gain and Luck, and enemies' movement speed, health and amount. That number can be increased if the player has revives left over when completing the stage by up to 600 coins (1st revive: +100 coins, 2nd revive: +200 coins, 3rd revive: +300 coins) for a total of 1100 coins.Įach stage applies modifiers to certain player and enemy stats. Given the stage is completed the player will receive an additional 500 gold coins upon death. If the player is able to survive until the stage's time limit, the stage will be considered completed and at that point there will be one The Reaper appearing every minute to slay the player and end their run. If you're comfortably ensconced in the Google ecosystem, this service has a lot to offer. (The music service also includes an ad-free YouTube Premium subscription.) As a longtime fan of the original service, I'm happy to report that YouTube Music Premium is a worthy upgrade. Those who have a love-hate relationship with Apple's legacy music client will just have to grin and bear it. The bad news is you'll need to use the iTunes software on a PC or a Mac to accomplish that upload. The good news is that your quota is a generous 100,000 tracks, and those you purchased from iTunes or downloaded for offline listening don't count in that total. Using a signature feature of the service, you can upload your personal music collection to the iCloud Music Library. The service is available on a surprising number of platforms, including Android devices and even Samsung Smart TVs. Apple Music has an enormous library that includes some iTunes-exclusive albums and tracks, as well as curated playlists and live radio. The service also lets you upload personal content, although the procedure for doing so is cumbersome. Our favorite Spotify feature, by far, is the ability to switch outputs on the fly, so you can flip in midstream from the smart speaker in your office to your living room's big sound or from your desktop app to your phone without missing a beat. That's a problem if your kids are away at college in another city. There is a big gotcha in Spotify's family plan, which allows family members to share the account only if they're at the same address. You can share playlists easily without having to involve Facebook, and you can always stream your guilty pleasure tracks in a private session if you don't want your music snob friends to know you're crushing on Coldplay or Nickelback. It also has the best social connections, as long as you're willing to connect your Facebook and Spotify accounts. The 800-pound gorilla of music apps earned its top status by being downright addictive, with some of the best smart playlists around and extensive support for podcasts.
